We just reviewed the vivo V29 but we got our hands on the Starry Purple color version and we thought you’d like to see what it looks like in the flesh.
The v29 comes in four colors – Space Black, Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red and this Starry Purple, also called Purple Fairy, depending on the market.
The unit we have is the top-of-the-line 12/512GB model but is otherwise the same, capable upper-midranger with a Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC and offers a 4,600mAh battery and 80W charger. The box includes a case and a USB cable.
The purple model is very beautiful. Like the blue model, the back panel design has subtle waves made of texture. They seem to move when you tilt the phone to different angles.
Unlike the frosted texture of the black model, the purple and blue have a glossy finish.
One of the main selling points of the vivo V29 is the Aura light on the back. It has a separate set of dedicated LEDs that can automatically adjust their temperature depending on the ambient light, and you can change it manually if you want.
