Realme GT Neo 6 series chipsets leak
Realme’s GT Neo 5 went official in February last year, followed by the GT Neo 5 SE in April. So it’s time to refresh the range, and Realme seems to be working on the GT Neo 6 series.
According to the usually reliable digital chat station on Weibo, the Neo 6 family will have two phones, at least initially. One of them will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, while the other will use Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
The devices are expected to support “1.5K” screens and 100W charging for their “ultra-large” batteries. They will, reportedly, be fiercely competitive on price and offer a lot of oomph for the money.
Realme is expected to charge as little as CNY 1,999 ($277 or €255 at current exchange rates) for the entry-level model in China, but as always, if these are international there will of course be a significant markup involving taxes and logistics. .
Qualcomm is rumored to unveil the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 later this month, so the Realme GT Neo 6 series should be announced soon, although DCS says they won’t be the first devices to go official. New chips.
