The vivo V30e was teased by the company yesterday, and today we got a confirmation of its launch date. The Indian division will launch the new phone on May 2 and make it available on Flipkart and Vivo stores.
It’s an all-new phone with a 5,500 mAh battery and a 50 MP main camera, flanked by Vivo’s signature Aura Light.
We already reported that Vivo has set up a landing page for the V30e, revealing two neat colors, a curved display on the front and a Sony IMX882 sensor for the main shooter. The front-facing camera will also get a 50MP sensor and will have autofocus.
The phone will have a 5,500 mAh battery, a first for the V series. It will have a so-called “4-year battery health” meaning the V30e will retain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 full cycles. The Vivo V30e will be one of the slimmest phones at 7.69mm, despite having a higher than average battery capacity.
