Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus’ Korean model has appeared on Geekbench, hinting at a RAM upgrade

In July, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ popped up on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Android 14, 8GB RAM and model designation SM-S926U. Now, the Korean version of the Galaxy S24 Plus has appeared on Geekbench, featuring the Exynos 2400 chip with the model code SM-S926N.

The Korean S24+ also runs Android 14, but has 12GB of RAM, which is an upgrade from the S23+ which came with 8GB of RAM. However, that doesn’t mean the Exynos-powered S24+ won’t come with 8GB of RAM as the SM-S926B spotted on Geekbench two weeks ago had 8GB of RAM.

The Exynos 2400-powered 8GB and 12GB RAM models have similar Geekbench scores, but are slightly lower than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered variants. Regardless, we’ll reserve our final judgment until we’ve tested both versions ourselves as the devices running the benchmarks are likely to be pre-production units and the retail versions perform better in synthetic tests.
