Meizu 21 Pro incoming next month with a triple 50 MP camera

The Meizu 21 arrived in late 2023, but we never saw the Pro variant on stage. Reports from China suggest that the Meizu 21 Pro will arrive in February and will reveal some key features of the new phone.

The company, owned by automaker Geely, will bring a device with new cameras, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The source claims that the main camera will have a 50MP sensor. There will also be a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and periscope lens.

For comparison, the regular Meizu 21 is sold with a 200 MP main cam + 13 MP ultra-wide + 5 MP sensor in RGB lighting.

The 16 GB + 1 TB memory combination is an improvement over the vanilla version, which has no more than 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

We’ll see a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and FlymeOS 10.5 supporting FlymeAuto 4.0 – the manufacturer’s in-car infotainment system with the Geely Lynk & Co 08 electric SUV.

The Meizu 21 Pro should cost more than the CNY3,999 ($560) that the basic Meizu 21 currently costs.
