Motorola Razr 40 arrives in the US as the Motorola Razr

Motorola unveiled the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra in June. The Razr 40 Ultra was launched in the US as the Razr+ and now the Razr 40 Ultra has debuted in the States as well. It is called the Motorola Razr in the US and Canada, but the URL listed on the Motorola website for these regions refers to the smartphone as the Motorola Razr Gen 3.

Everything else remains the same, meaning you get the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, Android 13, and a 4,200 mAh battery with 30W wired and 5W wireless charging. The Motorola Razr’s FullHD+ folding LTPO AMOLED display measures 6.9″ display and has a 144Hz screen refresh rate. On the other hand, the cover display measures 1.5″ diagonally and has a 368×194-pixel resolution.

The Motorola Razr has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and three cameras – 64MP primary (with OIS), 13MP ultrawide and 32MP selfie. The smartphone comes in a single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration and has an NFC chip onboard.

In the US, the Motorola Razr comes in Sage Green, Summer Lilac, Vanilla Cream and Cherry Blossom colors priced at $699.99. However, it will have a limited time discount of $100.
