Nothing Phone (2a) reaches 100,000 units on first day of sale

The Nothing Phone (2a) debuted last week and went on sale on Tuesday, March 12. The sales day was more than successful as the company sold 100,000 units, revealed Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing. The company pushed 60,000 of them in the first 60 minutes.

The Phone (2a) was launched as a more affordable alternative to the Phone (2) but came with many features, borrowed from its more powerful sibling, such as a 6.7” OLED and dual 50 MP cameras on the back. There are also glyph designs.

Nothing said Midranger comes with a custom-made Dimension 7200 Pro that delivers up to 10% more efficiency. In reality, it performed just as well as the Dimension 7200 or Dimension 7200 Ultra – after all, they all share the same 4nm silicon.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is priced at €329 in Continental Europe, £319 in the UK and Rs 23,999 in India. US users can get the MidRanger for $349 through a developer program, though the brand has promised that it will also allow non-devs.
