The smartphone world’s lightest and thinnest folding phone launch camera will be amazing

The Honor Magic V2 smartphone is going to be launched tomorrow i.e. July 12 in China. It is claimed to debut as the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone. The Magic V2 could set a new precedent by beating the current thinnest phone – the Huawei Mate X3.

As it is just a day after its launch, the company has started releasing various information about the Honor Magic V2 to make it attractive to buyers. Some sample images of the foldable phone have now been released to give an idea of the camera quality.

Honor’s product line president has shared some photos of a beautiful Beijing sunset captured by the camera of the upcoming Magic V2. These images show the finer details of the scene. However, it’s not fair to judge the phone’s camera quality until it’s turned on.That’s because images shared by officials often don’t show the phone’s actual camera capabilities.

The Honor Magic V2 will be marketed as one of the world’s thinnest and lightest smartphones. The smartphone is expected to live up to these claims, as the company is currently comparing it to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which weighs just 240 grams.

The foldable is expected to offer state-of-the-art hardware. It can use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. However, the company may also launch a high-end version of the device with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Not much is known about the Honor Magic V2’s display, but it is rumored to feature a 7.9-inch foldable LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution. The Magic V2 may have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor on the rear panel and is said to run Magic OS 7 software version.
