Samsung Galaxy A55’s design revealed through leaked renders

The CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy A55 that we’ve been hearing about for a while have surfaced, revealing the smartphone’s design.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 looks similar to the Galaxy A54. It has a centered punch-hole display and a vertically aligned triple camera setup at the back. However, the most notable difference between the design of the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A55 is that the latter has a flat frame – something we expect to see in almost all smartphones Samsung will launch next year.

The right side frame of the Samsung Galaxy A55 has a power button and volume rocker, the left frame has no slots and controls. The bottom has the USB-C port connected by the microphone and speaker, and the top has the SIM card slot, which is connected by the secondary mic. The frame also has antenna lines, suggesting a metal build.

The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy A55’s display measures 6.5″ diagonally. It has a FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be 8.2mm thick, but its weight is unknown.

Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to come with Exynos 1480 SoC, 50MP primary camera and 25W charging. More details on this should be released as we get closer to launching it.
