Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 12 model handset as a budget-friendly smartphone. The Helio G88 mobile has two ARM Cortex-A75 CPU cores running at 2 GHz, with six Cortex-A55 cores capped at 1.8 GHz. The Redmi 12 has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports up to 18W fast charging.
The new mobile from Xiaomi company uses a 6.79-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. For cameras, the mobile uses a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The new mobile phone is based on Android 13 and MIUI 14 which differentiates it from recent mid-range Xiaomi smartphones like POCO X5.
