Infinix GT 20 Pro surfaces with Dimensity 8200 SoC

The Infinix GT 10 Pro was released last August, and it looks like the brand is very busy working on its successor, which will likely go official much sooner than its predecessor. That is, it has already received a bunch of certifications – TUV, EEC, and Wi-Fi Alliance.

Not only that, a prototype GT 20 Pro was spotted on the Geekbench online database, achieving a single-core score of 1,005 and a multi-core score of 3,311 on Geekbench 6.

The benchmark list also reveals that it is powered by MediaTek. The Dimensity 8200 SoC is paired with 12GB of RAM in the prototype – but it’s expected to have a version with 8GB after launch. For both, the storage will be 256GB.

The phone runs Android 14, as it should in this day and age, and thanks to its TUV certification we also know it sports a 4,900 mAh battery (although it’s unclear if that’s the rated or normal capacity – if it’s the previously expected 5,000 mAh market). either)

The Infinix GT 10 Pro was a very popular model in our specs database, so we’re curious to see if its successor can do it again – or if the original will remain the proverbial one-trick pony.
