Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have more RAM than last year’s models

Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 series at its “Wanderlust” event yesterday, and while the brand talked about the new features and improvements coming with the iPhone 15 lineup, it didn’t mention the amount of RAM expected for its smartphones. But thanks to MacRumors and software code researcher aaronp613, we know this year’s Pro version has more RAM than last year’s model.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max each have 8GB of RAM – 2GB more RAM than the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This information is available in the Xcode 15 release candidate file. However, there are no details about the type of RAM used in the iPhone 15 series.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus come with 6GB of RAM, the same as last year’s iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
All four iPhone 15 models will go on sale from September 22, with the first wave of countries opening for pre-orders from September 15. You can check the pricing of the iPhone 15 lineup for major markets here and go here for yesterday’s coverage event
